AprKeeping up with my 30 day challenge
I’ve been keeping up w/ the 30 day photo challenge on Facebook but I keep forgetting to also update this! So I’m about to post the past 5 days now lol

My Pops :) just so he could take it easy for a day at least…. many times I’ve wished I could trade places with him.

This one definitely goes to V…. the past 6 yrs have been rough for me (and my family) and I’m all about BEING REAL lol and even though we havent been together for the past 6 mths he was there for me throughout those years, some things just aren’t meant to be, though. I still appreciate all that he did and/or tried to do :)

My Franny lol! Its been quite a while but we have most definitely done some ****** up things haha! We had some crazy good times though…. :))

Oct![Shelby (R) and Dixie (L) just chilling :P….
My baby girl Shelby turned 3 yrs old a couple weeks ago and although it has always been just the 2 of us, I’m happy to say that she welcomed her new “sister” with [wide] open arms! Things were pretty crazy the first week or so and Im not going to say its all perfect now lol but she has been a GREAT big sis to “little” Dixie :)
I adopted Dixie, a JackChi (Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mix), on August 1, 2010 and let me tell you, it has been quite the adventure!! Idk if you can tell by the pic but she seems to have inherited EVERYTHING Jack Russell except for her body size/type lol (just my luck). She has more energy than all 3 of our little ones (yorkie, pomeranian & min pin) combined! Cutest little devil ever though….
In the beginning, Shelby wasn’t too thrilled about the “new addition”, she was very rude and obnoxious anytime Dixie got near me but that changed rather quickly. By the 2nd or 3rd week, they were sharing beds, toys, food, water, etc…. it was awesome :) Then, Dixie grew lol and I do mean she grew…. she like doubled in size within the first mth of having her (outgrowing Shelby) and things took some unexpected (yet expected lol) turns; fighting over food bowls, fighting over bed space (my bed), tearing up pillows (Dixie) and getting into crazy brawls over my lap, hand, whatever…. they were at each others throats!
Then came yesterday, October 18th…. Dixie’s schedule surgery (spay), she did great btw, that is until post surgery. I went in to pick her up after about 8hrs and it all started right away; vomitting, diarrhea, I was freaked out! Had to take her back to the vet to get checked out and get some extra medication…. I had been soooo nervous about this date since I found out I was going to have to spay her. Last night, she didn’t sleep a wink, not one. I was up all night with her as she cried, whimpered, spit up (every now and then), every stool and what not, its been crazy…. and through it all, big sister Shelby was right there by her side, Im sure she was letting her know everything was going to be ok :)
She is doing MUCH better today, wanting to wreak havoc already lol but I have to remind her to calm down and not jump and so on…. im sure Shelby is tellin her the same lol](http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lak732FqaP1qzkotto1_500.jpg)
